Models equipped with the larger battery use an 84.3‑kWh pack. The i4 eDrive40 pairs that battery with a single rear motor for rear-wheel drive, producing 335 horsepower and offering an estimated range of up to 512 kilometres. The i4 xDrive40 adds a second motor for all-wheel drive, raising output to around 396 horsepower while reducing range to roughly 462 kilometres.
