Taylor Swift will add Vancouver to her Canadian Eras Tour stops. The pop superstar announced three shows at BC Place on December 6, 7 and 8, 2024, following her Toronto run in November. RBC’s Avion Rewards program is partnering to provide its members with access to a limited allocation of tickets for the Vancouver dates.
“By bringing her record-smashing tour to Canada’s West Coast, Taylor Swift will no doubt delight fans while delivering meaningful economic impact to the great city of Vancouver,” said Mary DePaoli, executive vice-president and chief marketing officer at RBC, in a news release on Nov. 2. Dave McKay, RBC’s president and CEO, has emphasized the bank’s goal of giving as many fans as possible a chance to see the tour through Avion Rewards.
Tickets for the Toronto dates were released earlier. For Swift’s Vancouver shows, Avion Rewards members could register for a chance to receive an online sale access code via Ticketmaster. Registration details required the email address associated with an Avion Rewards account and closed at midnight (PST) on Nov. 8, 2023. Membership in Avion Rewards is free and does not require holding an RBC product.
It’s me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you. So, don’t make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon.

How to register for RBC Avion Rewards Taylor Swift tickets in Vancouver
RBC acted as the Eras Tour’s official ticket access partner in Canada and offered an exclusive ticket allocation to Avion Rewards members. The Avion registration page opened simultaneously with Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan registration. Verified Fan registration closed Nov. 4, 2023 at 5 p.m. PDT, while the Avion registration deadline was Nov. 8, 2023 at midnight PST.
Not everyone who registers—either with Avion Rewards or Ticketmaster Verified Fan—will receive an access code, and not every access code guarantees a ticket. Fans who wanted the best chance were advised to register for both programs. Ticketmaster limits purchases to four tickets per person across all Vancouver dates.

What is Avion Rewards?
Avion Rewards is RBC’s loyalty program that lets members earn and redeem points for travel, merchandise, gift cards and other rewards. Formerly called RBC Rewards, Avion Rewards includes partnerships with thousands of online retailers and a ShopPlus browser extension that offers deals and cash-back offers. In August, RBC expanded Avion Rewards access by adding a public membership tier—Avion Rewards Select—so Canadians without RBC banking relationships can join and earn points.
Avion Rewards also maintains premium membership tiers for customers who hold eligible RBC credit cards. These tiers can include additional benefits and ways to earn points, and membership eligibility varies depending on the card product.
More credit card entertainment rewards
RBC’s arrangement around Taylor Swift tickets is part of a broader trend among Canadian card issuers to provide entertainment perks. Many premium cards offer early access to concert tickets, exclusive presales, dining experiences and curated events. Cardholders may also find accelerated rewards or bonus points for purchases made with ticketing agencies and entertainment merchants.
American Express has long been known for early access and presale benefits. Other programs—such as Scotiabank’s Scene+ loyalty program—link card spending to cinema, entertainment venues and partner rewards. Visa and Mastercard also operate tiers and programs that grant access to curated cultural and sporting experiences for eligible cardholders.
Beyond presales, some cards offer enhanced rewards for streaming subscriptions, ticket purchases or entertainment spending. These features can add value for frequent concertgoers and fans who want an edge when demand is high.
